Yes! Vote for Willie! He seems as reasonable as some of the other options. Austin Texas’ men’s clothing store STAG (1423 S Congress Ave. Austin, TX.) thought the same and came to me with an amazing proposal, I would once again get to draw Willie Nelson (see 2015’s La Zona Rosa mural) for yet another Austin wall which would again be painted by the talented Joe Swec. This time I’d also get to collaborate with amazing designer Erick Montes too.

My illustration was scanned and sent to Austin where Erick Montes designed the fabulously bold type and red stripes. The image was then projected onto the wall for Joe Swec and co. to paint. What a great collaboration. Always up for drawing Willie.
