Bee Pollinators | National Conservancy of Canada

A piece on the importance of native bee pollinators taught through Indigenous Traditional Knowledge art and culture. Featured is Mi’kmaq artist Mike MacDonald’s beautiful pollinator gardens replanted by Lisa Myers and Sheila Colla for the Kitchener Waterloo Art Gallery and cultural sites across Canada. Art may be a way to convey the importance of these bees in our world and to save creatures like the endangered Rusty Patched Bumble Bee & our environment.
