The 2nd page of the "Wild in the City" spread, art directed by Steve Balaban. This one focuses on wild cougars roaming the streets of Victoria. The writer, David Leach, summed up the mischievous cats' behaviour in the article saying that, "in 1992, a cougar snuck downtown and into the parkade at the Empress Hotel. There it lurked like a subterranean prowler beneath the clinking china of High Tea, the wall-mounted tiger-skin in The Bengal Lounge, and the Garden City’s many monuments to civilizing empire." Loved this part of the article! Once I read this I was sold.
