Alfredo Corchado Foreign Correspondent in Mexico for The Dallas Morning News

CLIENT: COLUMBIA JOURNALISM REVIEW

As drug cartel & gang violence escalates across the border, Mexico is becoming one of the most dangerous places in the world to be a journalist. The Committee to Protect Journalists (CJP) says more than 30 journalists & media workers have been murdered or have disappeared from Mexico since Dec. 2006. The Review spoke with journalist Alfredo Corchado, who recently accepted the 2010 Lovejoy Award from Colby College for courage & excellence in journalism. Here's my small 3"x 2"spot for the Review, art directed by Thomas O'Neill.
