Bad Hair Day Mysteries | Harlequin Books

I never thought I’d illustrate a book cover on a hairdresser sleuth, but here you go! Thanks for the fun art direction Kathleen Oudit!

The first story, Shear Murder, focuses on a murder at a Florida wedding and our detective, “trying to unmask a killer who refuses to cut her any slack.” Heyoo!

This illustration was inked first and then I added more colour digitally. It was fun drawing all these tendrils of hair!

The 2nd book in his series, Hanging by a Hair, is about another murder the hair dressing sleuth has to solve, this time in the suburbs. “Murder most unneighborly”
